The Newfoundland and Labrador (N.L.)'s Agri-Adapt Council Inc. (AACI). provides funding for innovative projects designed to foster increased long term growth, self-reliance, partnerships, employment and competitiveness for N.L.'s agriculture and agri-food sectors, and rural communities. Funding is provided to the Council from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's $60 million per year Canadian Adaptation and Rural Development (CARD) Fund. The N.L.'s AACI is a not-for-profit incorporated organization made up of 9 members representing the farming and processing communities and also one non-voting ex-officio member from the provincial government and one from the federal government. The 9-member board determines policy decisions and makes funding decisions on individual projects.

Les fonds dont il dispose proviennent du Fonds canadien d'adaptation et de développement rural (FCADR) d'Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada, doté d'un budget de 60 millions de dollars par année. AACI de T.-N.-L. est un organisme à but non lucratif constitué en société qui se compose de neuf membres représentant les agriculteurs et les transformateurs, d'un membre d'office sans droit de vote désigné par le gouvernement provincial et d'un autre désigné par le gouvernement fédéral. Le conseil de neuf membres prend des décisions en matière de politiques et de financement pour chaque projet.
