L'Association de parents pour l'adoption québécoise (APAQ) a été fondée en 1996 dans le but de favoriser l'adoption des enfants d'ici. L'objectif est de faire connaître les besoins particuliers des enfants du Québec et de soutenir les parents qui tentent d'y répondre. L'association souhaite contribuer à leurs efforts afin d'assurer à chacun de ces enfants un milieu de vie familiale, stable, sécurisant et accueillant.
