L'autonomie, la réadaptation et la qualité de vie. Il convient de remarquer que les échelles fonctionnelles globales, utilisées en dehors de la période aiguë, tel l'index de Barthel ou la Mesure de l'Indépendance Fonctionnelle (MIF), ne mesurent pas les performances en milieu de vie ordinaire. Le devenir de l'autonomie en milieu normal ne peut donc être interprété qu'avec un outil d'évaluation approprié.
