The LACV-30 [lighter air cushioned vehicle] hovercraft can be transported by ship, truck, aircraft, or rail allowing for rapid response to any situation. It is deployable on oceangoing ships and requires no docks, ports, berthing or cargo mover system. This hovercraft comes with a complete support system. Le NAVIPLANE N300 est un véhicule sur coussin d'air de taille intermédiaire conçu pour le transport de passagers ou de frêt. Sa spécificité est la navigation en eaux peu profondes, interdite aux bâteaux du fait de leur tirant d'eau. Il est adapté aux liaisons vers les îles ou la traversée d'estuaires, bras de mer, rivières, lacs ainsi qu'au service côtier avec des creux de vague jusqu'à 1,50 mètre. [...] Chacune des deux turbines entraîne deux ventilateurs de sustentation et une hélice de propulsion à pas variable. Les quatre ventilateurs créent sous la coque un coussin d'air maintenu par une jupe périphérique souple. Le véhicule évolue à 15 cm au-dessus de la surface portante (eau ou sol). Huit jupes coniques internes assurent la stabilité de l'ensemble en cas de surface portante non plane (relief ou creux de vague).
