Evaluation de la perte auditive. (...) c'est (...) au médecin qu'il revient d'apprécier la gêne sociale subie par atteinte de l'audition. Plusieurs méthodes ont été proposées. Elles sont basées sur l'audiométrie tonale ou sur l'audiométrie vocale. (...) En France, le législateur a retenu la formule de Fournier : Perte auditive moyenne (en dB) = Perte 500 + (2 X Perte 1000 + Perte 2) [divisé par] 4. Ce déficit est calculé pour la meilleure oreille mais, dans le cas présent, la différence est en règle peu importante.
