OBS

En anglais, le terme "facing" désigne deux notions: "parementure" et "garniture". La garniture est aussi une parementure. La distinction entre ces deux termes est la suivante: on emploie le mot "parementure" pour désigner les sections de tissu qui servent à la finition interne du vêtement; donc la parementure est invisible sur l'endroit du tissu. La garniture est une parementure visible, extérieure sur le devant du vêtement; le plus souvent elle sert d'ornement.
