Where the entire width of a roof does not exceed 14 ft, the design snow load shall be not less than 50 per cent of the appropriate ground snow load listed in NBC Supplement No. 1, "Climatic Information for Building Design in Canada 1977," but in no case less than 20 psf of horizontal roof projection.
