The MSD 20 [gyro platform] is light, weighing only 7.5 kg (...), measures only 260 mm x 193 mm x 160 mm (...) and outputs altitude, heading and speed without needing a magnetic heading input. The system consists of an inertial unit, a UT 382-50 digital computer and an electronics and interface unit. Très légère (7,5 kg) et de faible encombrement (260 x 193 x 160 mm), [la centrale inertielle SAGEM modèle MSD 20] donne les informations d'attitude, de cap et de vitesse sans qu'il soit nécessaire de lui fournir une information de cap magnétique.
