Système comprenant un tunnel circulaire, long de plusieurs kilomètres, et un collisionneur, qui permettra d'accélérer en sens inverse des électrons et des positons et de les faire se percuter en quelques points bien choisis, autour desquels seront installés des appareillages qui détecteront les particules produites lors de ces collisions.
