The Earth Sciences Information Centre of Natural Resources Canada houses Canada's largest and most important collection of geoscience literature, photographs and maps. Of special historic significance is the Sir William Logan Collection of rare books, maps and pamphlets, originally owned by Logan, who founded the Geological Survey of Canada in 1842.
