The Volunteer's Circle of the National Gallery of Canada was founded in 1958. The group is dedicated to stimulating interest in the National Gallery of Canada and providing opportunities for the general public, as well as members of the Gallery, to participate as volunteers in Gallery activities. Through their time, talent and commitment to the institution, the Volunteer's Circle assists the Gallery in fulfilling its mandate and objectives.

Le Cercle des bénévoles du Musée des beaux-arts du Canada, établi en 1958, s'applique à susciter l'intérêt pour le Musée et à encourager les membres du grand public et du Musée à participer à titre de bénévoles aux activités de celui-ci. En donnant ainsi de leur temps et grâce à leurs talents et à leur engagement envers l'institution, les membres du Cercle des bénévoles contribuent à la réalisation du mandat du Musée.
