USNE-80 no 29-30, p.15. Valve de précision en polyéthersulfone. Cette valve fait partie d'un système de pressurisation de cabine d'avion. Elle permet de contrôler le flot d'air admis dans la cabine et doit se fermer instantanément en cas d'un renversement de pression. Cela implique un parfait ajustage des clapets sur leur siège afin d'assurer une fermeture totalement hermétique. C'est pourquoi Lucas Aerospace a choisi le polyéthersulfone "Vitrex", pour le moulage de ces valves. Le polyéthersulfone s'usine très facilement et présente une stabilité dimensionnelle élevée. De plus, il répond aux conditions de fonctionnement sévères de la valve: plage de température allant de 50 ° à [plus] 150 ° C en présence de fluides et d'une atmosphère riche en oxygène.
