In marketing, delivery of a coupon to buy a product or to obtain a gift.

CONT

These coupons are found in products previously purchased or can be obtained by mail or through newspapers. The manufacturer reimburses the wholesaler the discount plus a premium for their collaboration as an incentive because generally this system is rejected by distribution channels. There are firms that specialise in controlling the whole exchange process. The percentage of redemption can be used to measure the success of a promotion.
