The Scientific Advisory Panel (SAP) on Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI) and Serotonin/Norepinephrine Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRI) acts as a forum of advice and a sounding board for management and scientists of Health Canada (HC). The SAP will primarily be consulted on the issue concerning the use of SSRI/SNRI in children under 18 years of age having major depressive disorders, but the decision-making responsibility remains with HC.

Le Groupe consultatif scientifique (CCS) des inhibiteurs sélectifs de la recaptation de la sérotonine (ISRS) et des inhibiteurs sélectifs de la recaptation de la sérotonine/norépinéphrine (ISRSN) a pour mandat de conseiller et d'informer les membres de la direction et les scientifiques de Santé Canada (SC). On consultera le CCS principalement dans le domaine de l'utilisation des ISRS/ISRSN chez les enfants de moins de 18 ans atteints de troubles dépressifs majeurs, mais la responsabilité des décisions incombe à SC.
