Record 2 1999-02-04

English

Subject field(s)
  • Aircraft Propulsion Systems
CONT

Unfeathering is accomplished by repositioning the governor control to the normal flight range and restarting the engine ... As soon as the engine cranks over a few turns the governor starts to unfeather the blades and soon wind-milling takes place, which speeds up the process of unfeathering.

CONT

The function of the distributor valve is to direct high-pressure oil to the rear of the piston in the dome when it is desired to unfeather the propeller.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Propulsion des aéronefs
CONT
