Public service employees who write job descriptions and/or sit on classification evaluation committees are expected to have an in-depth knowledge of the classification process. This orientation course outlines how to write and evaluate work descriptions using current classification standards as well as how to participate as a rating member on a classification evaluation committee. Participants will acquire a better understanding of the classification process and its impact on other human resources (HR) functions.
