On trouve, sur un même fuselage, deux types de couples : — les couples courants [...] — les couples forts, placés : — aux points d'introduction de charges importantes, — au niveau de parties de structure affaiblies par des ouvertures (hublots, portes). [...] Les couples forts ont souvent une structure caisson réalisée par assemblage de plusieurs profilés, une épaisse semelle rapportée assure la fixation au revêtement.
