Each of the original sub-groups may be confronted with the others and a dialogue instituted between their spokesmen ... in constant consultation with the other members. Each spokesman may be backed by a member of his sub-group. This arrangement is known as "the tortoise".

Dispositif de la tortue. On peut installer chacun des sous-groupes initiaux, regroupé, en face des autres. Un dialogue s'ouvre entre porte-parole de sous-groupes (un ou deux par sous-groupe), qui consultent à tout moment les autres membres. Et chaque porte-parole peut être relayé par un membre de son sous-groupe. C'est le dispositif dit de «la tortue».
