Réveil ou exacerbation de la douleur sciatique chez le malade en décubitus dorsal par flexion de la cuisse sur le bassin, la jambe étant en extension.

OBS

Ce signe est dû à la traction sur la racine du nerf sciatique provoquée par la manœuvre. Il est pratiquement constant dans la sciatique vertébrale commune et apparaît pour un degré d'angulation d'autant plus faible que l'atteinte est plus sévère.
