OBS

The carrying capacity of an area is the amount of use by man that the area can withstand without undue environmental degradation. Carrying capacity is partially determined by man in that it is man who must define the level of change that constitutes the threshold of unacceptable degradation. The task of the development team is to plan, build and manage the trail so that the carrying capacity to its environment is not exceeded.
