The Dancer Transition Resource Centre (DTRC) was founded in 1985 and its mandate is to help dancers make necessary transitions into, within, and from professional performing careers. It also operates as a resource centre for the dance community and the general public by providing seminars, educational materials, networking and information, as well as supporting activities that enhance the socio-economic conditions of artists. The Dancer Transition Resource Centre is a not-for-profit, national, charitable organization.

Fondé en 1985, le Centre de ressources et transition pour danseurs (CRTD) a le mandat d'aider les danseurs à mieux vivre les diverses phases de transition liées à leur cheminement artistique, professionnel et personnel et ce, qu'ils soient en début de carrière, à mi-carrière ou en période de retrait. Il sert également de lieu de ressources à la communauté de la danse et au public dans son ensemble, en offrant des séminaires, du matériel éducatif, des contacts utiles et de l'information. Le Centre apporte son soutien aux activités qui améliorent les conditions socioéconomiques des artistes. Le Centre de ressources et transition pour danseurs est un organisme national unique, à but non lucratif et de charité.
