DROIT ANTERIEUR [4 records]

Record 1 2016-09-07

English

Subject field(s)
  • Legal System
OBS

The concept designated by the English terms "old law," "earlier law" and "former law" is more general than that designated by the French term "droit antérieur." In English, no distinction is made between the law that precedes the amendment of rules in effect and the state of the law ("droit antérieur") and a law no longer in effect that is only of historical interest ("droit ancien").

French

DEF
