spectromètre de particules : Pour la première fois, un spectromètre de particules semblable à ceux qui sont utilisés autour des accélérateurs, en orbite à 400 km au-dessus de la Terre, a pu enregistrer la trace de millions de particules cosmiques. L'analyse des informations collectées révèle un comportement inattendu des particules subnucléaires dans le proche environnement terrestre, en particulier leur réaction au champ magnétique terrestre en fonction de la latitude.
