The National Water Research Institute (NWRI) is Canada's largest freshwater research facility, with centres in Burlington, Ontario, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As part of the Environmental Conservation Service of Environment Canada, The National Water Research Institute conducts a comprehensive program of research and development in the aquatic sciences, often in collaboration with the Canadian and international science communities.
