Les termes «Internet» et «Net» ne s'accordent pas en genre et en nombre avec le nom qu'ils qualifient (une adresse Internet, des sites Internet). «Internet» s'emploie sans article (faire une recherche sur Internet); par contre, «Net» est toujours précédé de l'article «le» (trouver des images sur le Net).
