Au final, les auteurs ont détecté un cocktail de 26 pesticides dans les ruches, dont 4 néonicotinoïdes. Ils ont montré que la toxicité de deux d'entre eux, le clothianidine et le thiaméthoxame, est presque multipliée par deux lorsqu'un autre produit, un fongicide appelé boscalide, est aussi appliqué dans les champs.
