MERITS

voir substantive adj.

  • 2. bien-fondé (d’un raisonnement, d’une prétention, d’une demande, d’une allégation)
  • valeur (intrinsèque) (d’un argument)
  • Phraséologie :
  • Each case must be considered on its own (particular) merits. = Chaque cas est un cas d’espèce / chaque cas doit être examiné en toute objectivité.
  • to deal with the merits of a claim = connaître du fond de la demande / examiner la demande au fond
