Under the Reciprocal Arrangement... advance written notice of the return of any deportee must be provided to Canada where the U. S. has evidence to suggest that medical attention is required because of a mental or physical condition. This includes citizens, permanent resident aliens and non-resident aliens. This Arrangement will be effective on its signature by authorized representatives of the Parties. Aux termes de l'Arrangement ... un préavis écrit concernant le renvoi de toute personne expulsée doit être remis aux autorités canadiennes lorsque les autorités américaines disposent de renseignements confirmant que la personne expulsée a besoin de soins médicaux en raison de son état de santé mental ou physique. Cela s'applique aux citoyens, aux étrangers résidents permanents et aux étrangers non résidents. Le présent Arrangement entrera en vigueur dès qu'il aura été signé par les représentants des Parties concernées.
