The Tall Ships’ Races, formerly known as the "Cutter Sark Tall Ships’ Races, "are long-distance races for sailing ships. The races are held annually in European waters and consist of two racing legs of several hundred nautical miles, and a "cruise in company" between the legs. Cutty Sark has inspired the name of a brand of whisky.
