Phillips has released an AFDX(Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet) PCI Mezzanine(PMC) card for avionics simulation and test. AFDX is an advanced protocol standard to interconnect avionics subsystems. Its first major use will be in the Airbus A3XX.
