In a coffee cupping session, the table is usually set up with 6 to 10 cups per coffee. These are fashioned in a triangular manner. At the top of this triangle you should place a sample of the roasted coffee and a sample of the green coffee. In the center of the table place a cup of room temperature water and an empty cup containing the cupping spoons. Cover both the green sample and roasted sample until the cupping session is over and the coffee aroma, fragrance, and flavor profile have been documented. After this time, the coffee samples could be uncovered and additional comments can be written based on appearance. This method will help reduce the common "eye cupping" technique.

First published in 1925, now published on the web by the Society of Dyers and Colourists and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists, it is the only authoritative international reference work on these colorants : their nomenclature, constitution, main applications and suppliers. Colorants are listed according to the widely acclaimed system of Colour Index Generic Names and Colour Index Constitution Numbers. A detailed record of products available on the market is presented under each Colour Index reference. Against each product name is listed the manufacturer, physical form, principal usages and comments supplied by the manufacturer to guide prospective customers.

Using the same courseware as traditional FlightSafety classrooms, participants simply log-on at a specified time and date to attain synchronous instructor-led training. Class members will not only hear the instructor's audio, they can "raise a hand" electronically to either carry on a private conversation with the instructor or let the whole class listen in on the discussion. A chat window allows the class to enter comments and questions. The instructor can assign individual exercises and view each participant's screen. Exams are administered and a Record of Training issued upon successful completion.
