Core policy[ :] This refers to the "core" designation within the Commercial Fisheries Licensing Policy for Eastern Canada — 1996. It limits participation and entry in the less-than-65-feet sector to individuals who meet certain criteria so that the total number of core fishers or participants in a fishery remains the same. To qualify as a member of the core group, a licence holder was required, as of December 20, 1995, to meet the following criteria : be the head of an enterprise; hold key licences; have an attachment to the fishery; and be dependent on the fishery. Canada-United States Transportation Border Working Group(TBWG). The 2003 Compendium contains port descriptions(ie. ownership, physical layout, annual traffic data, etc.) as well as current information on on-going, planned and proposed infrastructure projects at border crossings, including their approaches. The Compendium focused on ports of entry with dedicated commercial operations or significant non-commercial traffic.... TBWG Compendium Subcommittee members proceeded to enhance the crossing descriptions with commodity and other new data, and all information was updated to 2004. The result is an on-line Border Infrastructure Compendium that provides a full picture of the busiest Canada-U. The consulting studies related to the establishment of a pre-production fermentation facility, conducted over the past three years by the Saskatchewan government, have shown : a) a need for a facility that would :-i) enable commercial developers to complete process scale-up in a confidential setting, train operating staff and be able to manufacture sufficient product for market evaluation/market entry;-ii) provide a fermentation capacity to complement and encourage the growth of bio-based value added processing;-iii) be comprised of a pilot plant permitting scale up to 1500 litres;-iv) provide technical and process development support capable of undertaking collaborative and contractual research. Voici les conclusions des études de consultation réalisées au cours des trois dernières années par le gouvernement de la Saskatchewan sur la création d'une installation de fermentation en préproduction. a) L'installation projetée : - i) permettrait aux promoteurs commerciaux de mener à bonne fin la mise à l'échelle des procédés de fermentation dans une atmosphère de confiance, de former des employés de production et de fabriquer la quantité de produits requise pour la réalisation d'une étude de marché/d'entrée sur le marché; - ii) fournirait une capacité de fermentation qui viendrait appuyer et favoriser l'expansion d'une industrie de biotransformation à valeur ajoutée; - iii) engloberait une usine pilote permettant une mise à l'échelle atteignant jusqu'à 1 500 litres; - iv) offrirait les ressources nécessaires, sur le plan de la technique et du développement des procédés, à la réalisation de recherches conjointes et contractuelles.
