To take advantage of this privilege, importers have to post an approved amount of security with Revenue Canada, and make the final accounting and payment at a later date. About 90% of commercial shipments are released through RMD. Environ 90 % des expéditions commerciales sont libérées sur présentation d'une documentation minimale.
