A CVECA is a self-reliant village savings and credit bank from the French Caisse Villageoise d’Epargne et de Crédit Autogérée. CVECAs are designed to operate in rural areas with clients who are primarily subsistence farmers, with minimal non-farm income. While most banks have less than 250 members, they achieve service flexibility and economies of scale through networking together into regional federations [...] CVECAs are member-based microfinance intermediaries inspired by external technical support. Structurally they lie between informal financial market actors like moneylenders, collectors, and ROSCAs on the one hand, and formal actors like microfinance institutions and banks on the other.

Traditionally, the board would satisfy its Revlon duty by canvassing the market(through investment bankers), identifying serious bidders, holding a formal or informal auction among them, and signing a deal with the winning bidder.

International organization active between 1956 and 1991 for the coordination of economic policy among certain nations then under Communist domination, including Albania (which did not participate after 1961), Bulgaria, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Mongolia, Poland, Romania, and the Soviet Union. Yugoslavia participated in matters of mutual interest.

Although it was founded in 1949, a formal charter was not ratified until 1959. The Charter gave COMECON the same international status as the European Economic Community(Common Market), but the structure was controlled by heads of state.

... the formal notification by one State to another State, usually by diplomatic note, of the name of an air carrier chosen by the designating State to use all or certain of the market access rights received by that State under its air transport agreement with the second State.

Current policy provides Air Canada and Canadian Airlines International with the right to enter unserved markets in their allocated territories of the world. This has the effect of blocking a service interest by any other Canadian carrier, even if the designated carrier chooses not to commence its own service. Effective immediately, any Canadian carrier may apply to the Minister of Transport for designation to operate in countries where the currently designated carrier is either not operating or is "under-utilizing" the designation.
