Peace Brigades International(PBI) is a unique grassroot organization exploring and implementing nonviolent approaches to peacekeeping and support for basic human rights. By invitations, PBI sends teams of volunteers who go into areas of political repression and conflict. PBI provides protective international accompaniment for individuals and organizations who have been threatened by political violence or who are otherwise at risk.
