The English "Wills Act" of 1837 permitted "any soldier being in actual military service or any mariner or seaman being at sea" to make an informal will of his personal property and the provision was written into the earliest Wills Acts in Canada and is still to be found in all provinces except Quebec, including those provinces which do not allow holograph wills. It is simply that attestation is not required but the will must be in writing and signed by the testator, although it seems that in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland a person entitled to the privilege may make an oral will.(Feeney, "The Canadian law of Wills", 1982, Vol. 1, p. 76)

Roller Derby. A player who attempts to lap members of the opposite team to score points for his own team.

Roller Derby. A service mark used for an entertainment of roller speed skating that is conducted on a banked oval track approximately 200 feet around between 2 professional teams of 5 men or 5 women skaters. A match consists of eight 12-minute periods with men and women alternating periods on the track. During a period, the officials will designate specific 60-second spans(jams) during which designated skaters(jammers) from each team break away from the pack, circle the track, and attempt to lap opposing skaters to score points. A team is awarded one point for each opposing skater passed by a jammer. Players are permitted to assist their own jammers around the pack by pulling them or blocking opposing skaters out of the way and to prevent the opposing jammers from passing by blocking, jostling, or shoving.

Employment with one employer for more than three months is not permitted.

As of the date of announcement of this policy, the following country markets meet the 300, 000 passenger threshold, thereby enabling second carrier designation : the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Hong Kong and Japan.
