To simplify the way business complies with Ontario government regulations, a "Clearing the Path" project was initiated to help businesses. The project offers entrepreneurs an easy-to-use computerized registration system to prepare, transmit and comply with government. Clearing the Path collects essential business information only once. It then sends out to each program area what is needed for processing and approval. Participating ministries and agencies agree on performance standards so that clients are aware of time cycle and the process. Pour aider les entreprises à se conformer à ses règlements, le gouvernement de l'Ontario a mis en œuvre un système de «Simplification des formalités». Ce système offre aux entreprises un programme d'enregistrement informatisé facile d'emploi qui leur permet de préparer et de transmettre, par le biais d'un «guichet unique» les documents prévus par la réglementation gouvernementale. Grâce à ce système, les renseignements essentiels sur les entreprises sont recueillis une seule fois, puis les données qui doivent être traitées et approuvées sont transmises à chaque secteur de programme. Les ministères et organismes participants s'entendent sur les normes de rendement, de manière à ce que les entreprises clientes connaissent les cycles de temps et les processus. Two types of analysis method were done in this project :(i) Visual Image Analysis, and(ii) Digital Image Analysis.... Visual Image analysis of the entire data source was done primarily for orientation and familiarization with the recognizable features of the study area. The knowledge gained from the procedure was instrumental in the subsequent selection of the training samples for the digital image analysis. Double overlock seamer.... a sewing machine for performing twin overedging and seaming in one high-speed operation. Specially designed top and bottom variable feed dogs pull the two plies through a three needle stitching area with improved, simplified elements for diverting one ply edge while the other is being overcast. The upright overcast edge of the top ply passes through a tunnel formed through the top feed dog. A guide wall attached to the throat plate guides the top edge away from the bottom overedging station. A guard wall can be attached to the presser foot to keep the turned-up top edge away from the seaming needle. A fiber optic/pneumatic system controls automatic stop, presser foot/top feed retraction and between-work thread cutter functions.
