Rex blocks consist of a high situated to the north of a low. Very often both the high and the low are closed, meaning that the isobars(or constant geopotential height lines) defining the high/low close to form a circle. Rex blocks [are] named after the meteorologist who first identified them.

A "Rex block" is a type of weather pattern where a large ridge of high pressure dominates the area and blocks any significant weather from intruding. They are calling it "dreaded" because these kind of blocks often bring cold temperatures and no new snow for a long time.

A Rex rabbit differentiates from other rabbits mainly due to its unusual velvet like fur. This fur is thick and short and stands straight up creating a very plush effect.... In 1924, these unique rabbits made their world famous debut at the great Paris International Rabbit Show.... In 1928, again at the Paris International Exhibition, Rex made another grand debut. This time the varieties in exhibit were Chinchilla Rex, Ermine(White) Rex, Black Seal Rex, Black Otter Rex, Blue Mole Rex, Squirrel Rex, and Castor Rex.

La sélection des lapins nains. Le lapin de race hermine est l'ancêtre de toutes les races naines. Il est nommé ainsi parce qu'il est blanc comme le petit carnivore connu sous le nom d'hermine. C'est un lapin de petite taille au pelage blanc avec des yeux rouges et aux oreilles courtes. Le premier standard français du lapin hermine a été établi en 1910 par le Club des éleveurs de lapins et il a été adopté le 17 janvier 1921 par la Commission des standards de la Société française de cuniculture.

The Royal Victorian Chain is an award, instituted in 1902 by King Edward VII as a personal award of the Monarch(i. e. not an award by the British or any other Commonwealth Realm government). Although it is similar in appearance to the Royal Victorian Order, the two awards are unrelated. The Royal Victorian Chain does not confer upon its recipients any style or title-in fact, the Chain is not even given a precedence within any Commonwealth honours system-but it represents a personal token of high distinction and esteem from the Monarch. The Chain can be conferred upon men and women, both of the Realms and foreign. The chain is in gold, decorated with motifs of Tudor rose, Thistle, Shamrock and Lotus Flower(symbolizing England, Scotland, Ireland and India respectively), and a crowned, red enamelled cipher of King Edward VII "ERI"(Edwardus Rex Imperator), surrounded by a gold wreath for men, upon which the badge is suspended. The chain is worn around the collar by men, or with the four motifs and some chain links fixed to a riband in the form of bow(blue with red-white-red edges) on the left shoulder by women. However the Queen's sister Princess Margaret in later life wore her chain around the collar, as male recipients do.
