Carotid endarterectomy(CEA) is surgery to treat carotid artery disease.... During a carotid endarterectomy, your healthcare provider will surgically remove plaque that builds up inside the carotid artery. He or she will make a cut(incision) on the side of the neck over the affected carotid artery. The artery is opened and the plaque removed. Your healthcare provider will stitch the artery back together.

Cluster headache sufferers typically experience very severe headaches of a piercing quality near one eye or temple that last for between 15 minutes and three hours. They are frequently associated with drooping eyelids, red watery eyes, and nasal congestion on the affected side of the face. The headaches are unilateral and occasionally change sides. The neck is often stiff or tender in association with cluster headaches, and jaw and teeth pain is sometimes reported.

Ochotona collaris is a medium sized pika averaging 17. 8-19. 8cm in length. O. collaris, otherwise known as the collared pika, is usually gray and has grayish patches on the neck and shoulders. These patches seem to resemble a collar, after which the species is named. While very similar in appearance to the American pika, O. princeps, the collared pika's creamy-buff coloration on the side of the face over the facial gland and white ventral coloration help to differentiate the two. Like other pikas, O. collaris has short ears, slightly larger hindlimbs than forelimbs, and a hardly noticeable tail. The collared pika has a relatively broad, flat skull, no supraorbital process and no fenestrae in the frontals.

Choosing an external breast prosthesis after a mastectomy is one option for women who either elect to wait to have breast reconstruction or who choose not to have the additional surgery. An external breast prosthesis is an artificial breast form that can be worn after a mastectomy to help balance the body and anchor the bra on the side of the mastectomy from riding up, which helps prevent back and neck pain and a sagging shoulder. Breast prostheses are custom-made for most women and are made from several different types of material(such as silicone gel, foam, and fiberfill) that feel similar to natural breast tissue and are usually weighted so they feel the same as the remaining breast. Some prostheses adhere directly to the chest area and others fit into pockets of postmastectomy bras, which are fitted with pockets on the inside to hold the device in place.

The head rope should be fitted by passing the end through the bottom ring of the jowl piece from the off side, then through the ring of the head rope and over the horse's neck from the near side The head rope is then secured by four complete coils and two half coils, and adjusted so that the front of the coil is a span of the hand from the bottom ring of the jowl piece.

The Overo pattern appears to be a colored horse with jagged white markings usually originating on the animal' s side or belly, spreading toward the neck, tail, legs, and back.

The words "Pinto" and "Paint" both refer to horses with a light and dark coat pattern, but actually the terms have different meanings beyond the coloration. Basically, Pinto horses can be of any breed, so long as they sport the colourful coat. Paint horses come from parents that are purebred, registered Quarter Horses or Thoroughbreds, and that sport the light and dark coat pattern.
