The Special Fund for Emergency and Rehabilitation Activities(SFERA) was established in 2004 to enhance FAO's [Food and Agriculture Organization for the United Nations] capacity to rapidly respond to emergency situations. LDC Climate Change Institutional Development Fund. A special LDC Climate Change Trust Fund should be created under the management of the UNFCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) Secretariat. Prior to the armistice, in October 1950, the United Nations General Assembly established the United Nations Commission for the Unification and Rehabilitation of Korea(UNCURK) consisting of seven Member States to represent the United Nations in bringing about the establishment of a unified, independent and democratic government of Korea. In February 1951, the United Nations Korean Reconstruction Agency(UNKRA) came into operation to help the Republic of Korea and its people toward the restoration of their war-wrecked economy. These agencies ceased to exist in 1973 and 1958, respectively.
