Recourant à des corpus spécialisés, un logiciel terminométrique Web, primé en 2005, permet d'évaluer en diachronie les états de langue. Le logiciel, appelé Barçah, trace ainsi l'évolution des terminologies, normalisées ou non, à l'aide d'un module de désambiguïsation semi-automatique.

Le projet pilote RÉGL est une base de métadonnées informatisée qui décrit les bases de données et l'information sur les Grands Lacs d'une façon conviviale. Ce sera à la fois un outil de commercialisation et une source pour la consultation de l'information appartenant à Environnement Canada - région de l'Ontario, l'Institut national de recherche sur les eaux, le ministère des Pêches et des Océans et le Service de l'environnement atmosphérique. Il a pour objet de centraliser l'information sur les Grands Lacs à l'aide d'un réseau informatique interactif.

A "user-friendly" method of delivering discretionary services to a subscriber household-discretionary signals are delivered in unscrambled form from the head end to an interdiction(trapping) unit(an addressable "interdiction" box) outside the home. Licensee is able to remotely control from the head end the signals received by each home, i. e. if subscriber does not want a discretionary tier, licensee adds an "interfering signal" to scramble the signals on that tier.
