Patient medical devices often have limited resources and most IMDs [implantable medical devices] have tightly-constrained processing, storage, and power resources. Nevertheless, long-term patient medical devices must store up to three to twelve months of patient data between follow-up sessions. Frequently, to maximize available resource utilization, only one set of patient measures are recorded per day and are averaged weekly to compress data storage overhead. As a result, patient follow-up can be artificially restricted by the data actually captured. The two-page focus charting outline is most appropriate for a rehabilitation unit. Functional activities such as mobility and activities of daily living are emphasized, while the cardiovascular, respiratory, and gastrointestinal areas are grouped together under the "physical" focus heading. When used correctly, focus charting is complete, orderly, and effective. It meets professional and legal standards and the requirements of third-party payers. Utilization reviewers easily can spot progress, or lack of it, after a few days. Research and audit information can be retrieved readily using the focus headlines. The progress notes are clear and easy for other nurses and other disciplines to review. This promotes communication among the entire healthcare team and ultimately promotes continuity of care. PWGSC [Public Works and Government Services Canada] Real Property Services Branch Document. PWGSC offered significant savings in office accommodation as part of the department's Program Review targets, in response to the anticipated downsizing of the federal public service. In addition, the targets include the Treasury Board directed 10% efficiency gains stemming from the Shared Accommodation Leadership(SAL) initiative. These two government wide initiatives necessitated the creation of a space recapture framework. The Client Space Envelope/Notional Budget Allocation is a concept which has been developed to allow clients to be more keenly aware of their space utilization so that they can take an active part in the space recapture framework.... The Budget Allocations are considered "notional" because no resources are actually transferred, and because budgets are based on 1994/95 average costs(excluding capital, lease acquisition fees, etc.). Document des Services immobiliers de TPSGC [Travaux publics et Services gouvernementaux Canada]. TPSGC a proposé d'importantes économies dans l'aménagement des locaux à bureaux, dans le cadre des objectifs de l'Examen des programmes du Ministère, pour faire face à la compression prévue de la fonction publique fédérale. En outre, ces objectifs comprennent également les gains d'efficience de 10 % ordonnés par le Conseil du Trésor et découlant également du projet de Leadership partagé en matière de locaux (LPL).
