La politique sur la sécurité établie le cadre de lignes directrices pour mettre en place les exigences en matière de protection de la vie privée et de la protection des renseignements. Ce cadre exige que les ministères protègent les renseignements personnels et les autres renseignements de nature délicate contenus dans leurs systèmes informatiques et utilisés dans leurs programmes et leur services.
