At startup, terminal 3 is energized, powering the blower motor through terminal M. The blower pressure switch contact closes, completing the interlock circuit between terminals 3 and P when blower pressure reaches 16 in. water column. Terminal X is powered to position the choke valve in its high fire position, with the high fire interlock satisfied via a jumper between terminals 3 and 10.(It is noted that the choke valve is normally open during this part of the sequence due to the way the valve motor is connected to the controller). The auxiliary rudder throw limiter restricts rudder throw travel, when flaps are in the 0 and 5 degree detents, to 17 degrees each side of faired position. Full rudder travel is available when flaps are extended to 15 degrees and beyond. The auxiliary rudder throw limiter consists of a single-acting hydraulic cylinder, a retractable rudder stop assembly, two springs, a limiter arm which is splined to the rudder torque tube, a control valve operated by the flap control and followup system, a flap/rudder stop inoperative light located on the flight compartment annunciator panel, and switches located above the retractable rudder stop and adjacent to flap followup control drum. 2, fiche 2, Anglais, - rudder%20auxiliary%20throw%20limiter
