The International Centre is an independent, international institute, based in Vancouver, Canada, officially affiliated with the United Nations, under a formal agreement between the government of Canada and the UN. The Centre is part of the UN Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme Network of Institutes. It was founded in 1991, as a result of a joint initiative of the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and the International Society for the Reform of Criminal Law, with contributions from the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia. The Vancouver Agreement is an urban development initiative of the governments of Canada, British Columbia, and the City of Vancouver. The agreement was signed in March 2000 and commits these government partners to work together, and with communities and business in Vancouver, on a coordinated strategy to promote and support sustainable economic, social and community development. The goals of the Vancouver Agreement are : to increase economic development in the Downtown Eastside; to improve the health of area residents and to increase public safety. Signé en mars 2000, par ces trois paliers de gouvernement l'Accord est le résultat de l'engagement qu'ils ont pris de collaborer entre eux et avec la collectivité et les entreprises de Vancouver afin d'élaborer une stratégie de développement économique, social et communautaire durable. Les buts de l'Accord de Vancouver sont les suivants : accroître le développement économique dans le quartier Downtown Eastside; améliorer la santé de ses résidents et améliorer la sécurité publique. It will help manufacturers and exporters find new markets in the United States. The information is transcribed from US customs manifests and purchased and transformed into a database by TradeBytes Data Corp. of Vancouver. TradeBytes Data Corp. holds the copyright to the database, not Industry Canada or the Government of Canada as indicated in the End User License Agreement. Elle contient plus d'un million de fiches et plusieurs millions de produits. Elle aidera les fabricants et les exportateurs à découvrir de nouveaux marchés aux États-Unis. L'information est transcrite à partir des manifestes douaniers américains, achetée et transformée dans une base de données par TradeBytes Data Corp. de Vancouver. TradeBytes Data Corp. détient les droits d'auteur de la base de données et non Industrie Canada ni le Gouvernement du Canada tel qu'indiqué dans l'accord de licence de l'utilisateur final.
