The condenser is also a Model no. 06036 shell and tube exchanger, identical to the reboiler with a few modifications : The baffles have been cut at the bottom where they meet the shell to allow condensate to flow out of the shell. The tube side has four passes for maximum heat transfer on the tube side. It is mounted nearly horizontally. The inlet end is a couple of inches higher than the outlet to allow condensate to drain out the low end. A few tubes have been removed at the top to give the vapor more room to distribute itself along the length of the shell. There is a vent on the shell side near the outlet end to allow non-condensable gases to leave. The internal volume of a round sanitary can or a plastic bottle is more accurate than a glass container.... Product from a supply tank flows through a spring-loaded filling valve opened by the container being present. Flow is by gravity into the sealed container, with air in the container escaping through a vent tube above the product level in the supply tank. Gravité simple : L'intérieur de la cuve est à la pression atmosphérique. Le bec comporte un tube de retour d'air et un clapet tubulaire qui obture l'orifice d'écoulement au repos. La bouteille, après avoir assuré son étanchéité avec le bec, soulève la clapet et l'emplissage s'effectue. Il s'arrête quand le liquide a atteint l'orifice d'écoulement et le niveau est établi par rapport au sommet de la bouteille. Pressure gravity. This method fills to a level. It is almost universally restricted to filling carbonated beverages. The flow principle is gravity as the force causing flow into the container. Like the gravity vacuum method, which fills by gravity in a vacuum atmosphere, this method fills by gravity in a pressure atmosphere. Product under pressure is held in an integral overhead supply tank on the rotary. Filling valves are mounted in the tank and are opened against spring pressure by the container being lifted to the valve. When the container is sealed to the valve, a mechanical latch opens a charging valve at the top of the valve vent tube which is above the product level in the supply tank....
