Typically, each [shallow land burial] trench has a sloping floor cut into the natural soil and a French drain of gravel down one of the long sides. [A mining method in which] the ore is excavated in open stopes, retreating from one end of the stope toward the other. The orebody is developed first by a series of sublevel drifts above the main haulage level. The sublevels are connected by a starting raise at one end of the stope and by a passageway raise for entrance to them and the stope face at the other end. Chute raises connect the haulage level to the lowest sublevel, at which the tops of the chute raises are belled out to form mill holes. Beginning at the starting raise the ore is benched down from the sublevels; the broken ore falls into the mill holes, where it is drawn off through the chutes. The stope face is kept nearly vertical as it is benched backward toward the passageway raise.

Wide-vein deposits contained within competent waste rock and at vertical or steeply angled inclination permit use of a method called sublevel stoping. This method can be likened to the month on the page of a calendar, with the top and bottom edges representing the main haulage levels where all of the ore from above is removed. Each row of weeks on the calendar page represents sublevels started from the right-hand edge raise toward the left-hand edge raise widened to full-vein width. The sublevels starting at the bottom left day of the calendar page are drilled with long holes in a circle around the opening, then blasted in one large blast, removing a segment of rock... along the sublevel. It would be like removing one day of the week from left to right, bottom to top of the calendar page, and dropping it to the bottom edge, where previously installed chutes funnel them to the train or load-haul-dump unit for haulage to the shaft.

The gyros are used to maintain the platform's inertial orientation by sensing rotations of the platform caused by vehicle-rotation-induced friction at the gimbal pivot points... One gyro-called the vertical gyro-is oriented so its input axes are aligned with the X and Y platform axes; its input axes provide IMU [Inertial Measurement Unit] platform roll and pitch stabilization. The second gyro is oriented so that one input axis lies along the platform's Z axis and the other lies in the X-Y plane. Frost jacking results from basal or vertical freezing pressures acting on the underside of a foundation, structure or object, or from adfreezing of soil to the sides of these objects. The cumulative upward movement over a period of time(one or several freeze-thaw cycles) may result in the foundation unit or object being ejected from the ground.

Frost-jacking - When heaving occurs ..., if a structure imbedded in the ground is not properly anchored to resist such movement, the structure will be forced upward along with the ground surface. In most cases, the structure does not return to its original position when the active layer thaws during the following summer. The net upward movement is called "jacking." In an anti-aircraft turret for armoured units, especially for armoured vehicles, the turret constitutes an independent unit and is equipped with a launching ramp, e. g. for rockets. The launching ramp is designed as an integral part of the turret and is rotatable in the vertical direction from a launching position, via a neutral transport position to a loading position where the ramp projects down through a loading hatch in the unit down into the turret. The ramp is equipped with an armoured protective mantle, which is rotatable with the ramp and which covers the ramp on the top and on the sides.

Due to plastic media using in the sludge mineralization trophic conditions for upper level of food pyramid is completed. Thus considerable part(90-95%) of excessive sludge is reduced due to complete trophic relations. Mineralized sludge mainly consists of zooglea, protozoa, metazoa and bacteriophagus which are perfect food for fishes fry. If sludge has not accumulated toxic substances, it can be discharged into any water bodies.
