Ressources humaines et Développement Social Canada et le Conseil canadien pour les ressources humaines en agriculture (CCRHA) rendent disponible aux entreprises agricoles canadiennes, le programme Objectif Carrière en Agriculture. The Centennial Student Employment Program (CSEP) was the predecessor of the Student Employment Experience (SEE) program. The CSEP was a five-year program, starting in 2001 designed to provide employment opportunities for returning students aged 16 and over. Summer Career Placements(SCP) is a wage subsidy program that enables private, public and not-for-profit employers to create career-related summer jobs for students. SCP proposals are judged on how well the proposed jobs prepare students for the labour market and the type of supervision, learning and work experience offered. Employers gain by hiring high-school, college or university students for 6 to 16 weeks, and students benefit by gaining experience in their chosen fields.
