The Canadian Centre for Field Robotics(CCFR) provides a unique testing environment for research in field robotics. Located in Metro Toronto, the CCFR has access to the wide range of resources available in the city while, at the same time, providing a number of real test sites for research in field(outdoor) robotics. Test areas include planetary surface simulation, indoor(pool) and outdoor water bodies and a large-scale terrestrial testing facility with wooded and grass-covered areas surrounding a large pond.

The zebra(Hippotigris), his name comes from Portuguese zebro that means wild donkey. It lives in open savannas and faintly wooded, grassy steppes, plains and hills. It shares his domain which can cover from 80 to 200 km² with other families. Activity of zebra is diurnal, his cry is enough similar to braying of donkey, his hearing keen, his sight quite good but his smell poor. Burchell zebra eats grasses, some leaves and the bark. If shade requirements are immediate, give careful attention to the growth-rate designation in the chart. A fast-growing tree increases in height by 3 or more feet per year and provides shade benefits within 5 years. Most fast-growing trees, however, are both short lived and weak wooded, two undesirable characteristics. In such cases, it may be desirable to plant both a small, rapidly growing tree and a moderate or slow-growing species nearby. The fast-growing tree could then be removed once the other species provides shade benefits.
