Bacterial blight of soybean. Infected leaf has small angular watersoaked lesions that are surrounded by yellow-green rings. As the lesions enlarge, they joined together forming dark-brown or black dead areas with yellow margins. Halo blight, caused by the bacterium Pseudomonas syringae pv. phaseolicola, affects green or snap, wax, lima, scarlet runner, and civet beans... Défini par Dowson (1939), il regroupe les bâtonnets asporulés, Gram négatifs, mobiles par un cil polaire (ou une touffe de cils polaires), pigmentés en jaune (pigment insoluble dans l'eau et non diffusible).
